BLACKSFORD RV RENTAL TERMS

ABOUT BLACKSFORD
Blacksford rents new and nearly new Winnebago and Nexus RVs from hubs in Las Vegas (NV), Phoenix (AZ), Seattle (WA) and Bozeman (MT). Every rental includes unlimited mileage, unlimited generator use, bedding and towels, a full kitchen kit and a free airport transfer on your flight days.

BOOKING AND CONFIRMATION
Blacksford rates move with the season, so the price you see on RV Las Vegas is a starting rate for your dates. Your request goes to the Blacksford reservations team, who confirm availability and the final cost. Nothing is charged until that confirmation.

MINIMUM RENTAL
Four nights minimum at every hub. Three nights are sometimes possible subject to availability in Las Vegas, Phoenix and Seattle. Bozeman does not take three night rentals at all.

DEPOT HOURS
Pick-ups and drop-offs run between 8:00am and 6:00pm, seven days a week, subject to availability.

AIRPORT TRANSFER
The transfer is free, in both directions, but only on the same day you fly and only inside depot hours (8:00am to 6:00pm). It is arranged with the depot once your flights are confirmed.
If you land before 8:00am, the transfer cannot collect you until the depot opens. If you land at 7:00pm or later, you will need a hotel for that night and collect the RV the next morning.
For the return: if you fly out after the depot closes they can still drop you at the airport, but the RV has to be back by 5:30pm. If you fly out before the depot opens, you must return the RV the evening before and stay at a hotel.

DRIVERS
All drivers must be 25 or older. Blacksford uses a third party driver verification process that accepts licences from your home country, so an international driving permit is not required. Additional drivers pay 10 dollars per day and must be present at pickup.

WHAT IS INCLUDED
Unlimited mileage and unlimited generator use on every model. Professionally cleaned linens, one Rumpl comforter per bed, a pillow per traveller, a full towel set per traveller. A complete kitchen kit (pans, utensils, knives, board, plates, bowls, cutlery, glasses, percolator coffee maker, mugs). Cleaning kit, hoses for fresh, grey and black water. Free airport pick-up and drop-off under the conditions above. 24/7 support during your trip.

INSURANCE (REQUIRED)
One of three packages must be taken with every rental, and all three carry a 1,500 dollar deductible. This applies even if your own policy already covers you: Blacksford requires one of the three without exception. All three include physical damage protection up to 300,000 dollars, windshield cover and 24/7 roadside assistance with Coach-Net, which Blacksford also requires (with Basic it is already added to the price shown, 14 dollars per day). Basic and Essential include state minimum liability. Peace of Mind raises liability cover to 500,000 dollars. These policies sit behind your own auto policy where yours extends to a rental RV, and become the primary cover where it does not.

PREP FEE AND TAXES
A preparation fee of 150 dollars applies per rental. Our price already includes the Las Vegas sales tax of 8.375 percent on the rental amount and the prep fee. Insurance and add-ons are not taxed.

PAYMENT
You pay nothing until Blacksford has confirmed your booking. For pickups more than 45 days away, RV Las Vegas then charges 50 percent of the total and Blacksford collects the other 50 percent directly from you 45 days before pickup. For pickups 45 days away or less, RV Las Vegas charges the full price.

ONE WAY RENTALS
One way rentals between Blacksford hubs are possible subject to availability and a fee, starting at 1,500 dollars. The exact figure moves with demand and availability, so we ask the depot for a quote before you book. Blacksford runs discounted one way rates in April and May and again in September and October, when they reposition vehicles to and from Bozeman. Drop-offs at places without a Blacksford hub can sometimes be arranged: ask us and we will check.

PETS
Dogs up to 75 pounds are welcome for 50 dollars per day, capped at 250 dollars per trip. Cats are not allowed. Damage caused by a pet is charged to the renter, and a minimum of 500 dollars applies if the RV comes back excessively dirty. Service animals: contact the depot directly.

CANCELLATION (Blacksford's own policy)
90 days or more before pickup: 100 percent of payments refunded.
30 to 89 days before pickup: 50 percent refunded.
11 to 29 days before pickup: 25 percent refunded.
10 days or less before pickup: no refund.
The security deposit is always returned in full, whatever the cancellation date. Refunds are made to the card you paid with, within two weeks: RV Las Vegas refunds what you paid us and Blacksford refunds what you paid them.

CHANGES
With 90 days or more to go, days removed from a booking are refunded with their costs. Less than 90 days before pickup days can still be removed, but the cost of the original booking stands (a 15 day booking shortened to 13 days is still charged as 15).

SECURITY DEPOSIT
Blacksford takes a 1,500 dollar security deposit 7 days before pickup, as an authorisation hold on a credit card. With a debit card the amount actually leaves the account, so a credit card is strongly recommended. It is released, or the hold drops off, within 7 days of returning the RV undamaged. Travelling with a dog also requires a 2,000 dollar refundable deposit, and a 500 dollar cleaning fee applies if the RV comes back excessively dirty.

FUEL
Vehicles are handed over with a full tank and must come back full. Otherwise Blacksford refuels at the prevailing local pump price plus a 5 dollar service fee.

SEASONS AND HUB OPENING
Las Vegas, Phoenix and Seattle operate all year. Bozeman is open from 1 May to 30 September. Bozeman is also closed from 11 to 26 May 2027.
